Shape the Species : imagine the visual signature of the 41 Type S

Nautitech launches “Shape the Species”, an international design competition dedicated to the visual signature of the 41 Type S.

Designers, architects, sailing enthusiasts and creatives are invited to propose their vision through a hull design concept.

The objective is clear:
to visually translate the DNA of the boat without ever compromising its lines.

The 41 Type S is not just a graphic canvas.

Your work will need to focus on three key aspects:

• supporting the dynamics of the lines and movement,
• expressing the balance between performance and versatility,
• revealing the boat’s ability to adapt to different uses, at sea and at anchor.

One key requirement: your design must remain readable in real conditions.
From a distance. In motion. From different angles.

To ensure overall consistency, all proposals must be created using an official Nautitech template.

This framework is not a limitation.
It is a starting point to explore with precision and create a design that truly works on the water.

Proposals will be reviewed by Nautitech teams, in close connection with the brand’s community.

The goal is to highlight designs that are both relevant and bold, grounded in real sailing conditions while expressing a strong vision.

The competition opens at the beginning of May and will run for one month.
The submission deadline is set for May 31.
