The Great Quest continues in La Rochelle: take the helm of the Nautitech 41 Type S

September 28-29, 2026 La Rochelle
41 type S, The Great Quest
On 28 and 29 September 2026, The Great Quest continues in La Rochelle with two new days dedicated to discovering the Nautitech 41 Type S.

This time, the invitation is simple: step aboard and experience it for yourself.

More than a presentation or a traditional sea trial, The Great Quest gives you the opportunity to spend time on board, take part in the sailing and discover how the 41 Type S behaves where it was designed to be experienced: at sea.

From discovery to experience

A catamaran can be discovered at the dock. Its lines can be observed, its interior explored and its technical specifications compared.

But to truly understand its character, you need to sail it. This is the philosophy behind The Great Quest.

On 28 and 29 September, Nautitech invites you aboard the 41 Type S in La Rochelle for an experience designed around sailing.

With only a few guests on board each session, you will have the opportunity to take your time. Move around the boat while underway. Observe how the different spaces connect. Talk directly with the Nautitech team. And, above all, take the helm and experience the boat for yourself.

Because the 41 Type S was not designed simply to be seen. It was made to be sailed.

What happens when the sails go up?

From the very beginning of the project, the Nautitech 41 Type S has been developed around a specific vision of the cruising catamaran: lighter, more responsive and more connected to the sea.

Its WhisperHull™ hulls, optimised weight distribution, sail plan and twin aft helm stations all contribute to the way the boat behaves under sail.

From the helm, you are directly connected to the boat and its environment. Around you, the open circulation between the cockpit, side decks and foredeck makes moving on board natural and intuitive.

Then there is everything that cannot be expressed through numbers:

  • The feeling at the helm.
  • The balance of the boat.
  • The way it accelerates.
  • The silence when sailing.
  • The relationship between performance and comfort.
  •

These are precisely the details The Great Quest invites you to discover.

A sea trial designed around you

The Great Quest deliberately moves away from the traditional boat show format.

There are no crowds moving through the boat and no ten-minute visit before the next group comes aboard.

Each sea trial is organised in a very small group, creating the time and space for a more personal experience.

Whether you are considering your next catamaran, preparing for long-distance cruising or simply looking for a different approach to sailing, this is your opportunity to experience the 41 Type S in real conditions and discuss your sailing plans directly with the Nautitech team.

Your next encounter with the 41 Type S starts in La Rochelle
